Bandra-Worli Sea Link

My story about Hyderabad is over, but not mine of Mumbai. The Bandra-Worli sea link is an architectural marvel, stretching across the sea as a shrotcut form Bandra to worli and vice-versa. And yes, I took all the pictures.

Dark Days

These are Dark Days.
Days when the sky is shrouded by pollution. Days when true greenery is sightseeing. Days when buildings rise sky high. Days when technology is more important than nature. Days when animals are killed for no reason. Days when blood is spilled on the ground because of religion. Days when people cower away at the sight of a man with a beard. Days when smog hangs ominously around us all. Days when the holy river is polluted. Days where we hold meetings to save the Earth. Days when we just talk, never do.
These are Dark Days.
Days when justice is overridden by crimes. Days when cases are just probed, never solved. Days when a person dying had become an everyday matter. Days when a war is started for childish reasons. Days when a war is stopped by brute force. Days when female infanticide has reached its climax. Days when women are killed for marrying a man of a lower caste. Days when domestic violence takes place everyday. Days when we think, but don't act.
These are Dark Days.
Days when children abuse at a young age. Days when they learn to bunk in their primary classes. Days when cowardly bullies pick on little children. Days when children love games in which blood is spilled. Days when children break rules and act innocent. Days when children are swept away by games; both video and physical. Days when children enjoy having heavy metal pounding in their ears. Days when a child needs a cellphone at grade 4. Days when fashion is greater than brains.
These are Dark Days.
Days when an entire year is famous for scams. Days when greed is more important than laws. Days when people actually get away with corruption. Days when bribes are daily. Days when money is everything. Days when noble men are investigated and the wicked left alone. Days when strikes take place every month. Days when the so-called political parties that help destroy property though riots. Days when the government is blamed. Days when we blame, but don't help.
These are Dark Days.
We smile, but don't laugh.
We talk, but don't do.
We think, but don't act.
We blame, but we don't help.
We pity, but don't aid.
These are Dark days indeed.
