Mozilla Firefox

Mozilla Firefox is the second most used internet browser after (what else?) the Internet Explorer. However, in the near future, Firefox is bound to grab attention since IE 9 was the last browser for windows Vista and IE 8 for XP. That's right. IE 10 is exclusively for Windows 7. That is the first mistake that Microsoft made.
The latest stable version of Mozilla Firefox is 4.0, which released in April.
At the release of Google Chrome, Google promised fast development, with a new version every six weeks. Mozilla and Internet Explorer are also following suit, with Mozilla making rapid developments as well as enhancing features.

When Mozilla Firefox first released (version 1) on November 9, 2004, it was not seen as a potential threat to the Internet Explorer. Even when version 3.6 bagged around seven awards including product of the year, Bill Gates reportedly said that he "had tried Firefox" and "it was just another browser, not as great as Internet Explorer" and that he "did not see it as a threat to the dominance of the Internet Explorer." However, these words were proved false as a survey revealed that the amount of Firefox users in Europe surpassed the amount of IE users, making Firefox 3.6 the first Internet browser to do so.
