You know something you really want.
You're kind of too scared to tell your parents. But after a few days, you work up the courage.
"Umm...dad....can I get a PSP?" (for example)
Your dad looks at you sternly for a few seconds. Then he says the exact words we've been expecting.
"We'll see."
Its almost as bad as a death sentence. You know that you're not going to get it, but you can't contain that little glimmer of hope that believes you will get it.
And what stinks more is that you can't try to convince your parents because they already said that they'll "see".
