We'll See

We all know what happens.
You know something you really want.
You're kind of too scared to tell your parents. But after a few days, you work up the courage.
"Umm...dad....can I get a PSP?" (for example)
Your dad looks at you sternly for a few seconds. Then he says the exact words we've been expecting.
"We'll see."
Its almost as bad as a death sentence. You know that you're not going to get it,  but you can't contain that little glimmer of hope that believes you will get it.
And what stinks more is that you can't try to convince your parents because they already said that they'll "see".

You try to say:
"I've done this-this, so can you-"
"We said that we'll see! You might get the PSP! We didn't decide yet, that's all."
And that'll be their argument for a long time.
Is this some sinister plan in order to stop kids from getting what they want? This ingeniously shaped method of stopping kids from whining and not getting them a present simply cannot be made by a coincidence. Perhaps many years ago a group of adults came together and formulated this way to stop their kids from asking for a fishing rod (ah, such simple days!) This bit of information was passed on, generation to generation and some blabbermouth told all of his friends, and they told theirs and so on until every adult on earth knew those accursed words and used them all the time to eradicate a child's dream!!!!!
It is time for us kids to take a stand. I don't know how, but do it somehow!!!
Good Luck!!!!

This post is not meant to hurt the sentiments of any overly sensitive adult who may burst out into tears upon reading it. It is also not meant to bring out the all consuming anger found in some parents. This entire post is meant as a joke.
